I was in the Ontario area on business trip. Heard about The Hat from a friend who grew up in the area. Had the classic pastrami dip sandwich and wet (gravy) fries. I was not disappointed! Great sandwich. Friendly staff. I hope I get back to the area with friends so we can get an order of pastrami fries.

My wife and I usually split a Pastrami dip and a small fries. I end up eating 2/3 of the meat and we only eat 1/2 the fries. Wego there about once a month and have been for 17 years. Now I'm hungry for The Hat !
It is too hard on the retailers as it would mean that they would have to stock another product and have to change the menu that they have had for years. Ask for it on a hamburger bun as it is smaller and more manageable. When my wife and I go we order 1 sandwich for both of us. They tend to give alot of meat and fries even in a small order fry.
